How do I avoid red marks?

Most red marks on the face are caused by over tightening the CPAP mask. CPAP masks should only be tightened down enough to create a seal. To avoid over tightening your mask, you should work clockwise around the mask, making small adjustments to the headgear, until the mask is securely in place but not overly tight. You should avoid pulling too much on one side of the mask than on the other.     These are incredibly comfortable for

    These are incredibly comfortable for my nasal pillow head gear. But they don't work for my husband's full mask head gear as they cover the straps and he often needs to re-tighten the straps in bed at night. I suggested shortening them but he doesn't want to have to fiddle with them during the night. For me though, they have been a big relief - comfort and no more strap marks.
