Questions we hear a lot...
Is a home sleep test as accurate as an in-lab sleep study?
Home sleep tests can be very accurate for detecting sleep apnea. Our home sleep test uses clinical-grade sensors that closely match many of the measurements from a lab study—making it highly accurate.
What can I expect during a home sleep test?
Our home sleep tests are simple. You’ll test for a couple of nights at home, using an easy-to-use app that walks you through a quick setup with a few small sensors. While you sleep, it tracks your breathing, oxygen, heart rate, and more. A board-certified sleep doctor reviews your results, sends you a report, and will even write you a prescription if you need it.
How long does it take to receive my results?
From start to finish, the whole process can be completed in as little as one week, but this depends on whether you test on back-to-back nights or take a break in between.
After each night of testing, the app will send you a nightly recap of your sleep health and breathing patterns. Once you've completed testing, the doctor will review your results within a couple of days and send you an official report.
Is a home sleep test right for me?
If you have concerns about your sleep health, or you've been experiencing breathing problems at night, it's a good idea to get checked out with a home sleep test.
You should consider taking a home sleep test if you're experiencing any of these issues:
- Loud snoring
- Waking up gasping or choking
- Being jolted awake
- Feeling like you're suffocating at night
- Frequently waking up for "no reason"
- Tired after a good night's sleep
- Brain fog or poor memory
- Irritability or mood changes
